Join Us In Welcoming Harrisonburg Attorney Nicholas (Nick) Martinez To WAW.
We’re pleased to announce the newest Harrisonburg attorney to join our ever-growing OSHA team–Nicholas Martinez. Nick joins us after graduating from Washington & Lee University School of Law in 2021. He brings a strong educational background and practical skills to his work for the firm. We’re excited to have him assisting our partners and associates on the civil litigation, intellectual property and business law teams.
Nick Values The Relationships He Builds With Clients.
While attending W&L University School of Law, Nick was fortunate to work as a student caseworker with the Black Lung Legal Clinic. Working under an advising attorney, he represented former coal miners seeking Federal Black Lung Benefits. This valuable experience helped him learn how legal aid can help individuals and groups in the Commonwealth. He conducted significant research and collected and prepared evidence to help his clients in court. The relationships he built with his clients and the organization have played a critical role in helping him grow and evolve as an attorney.
A Scientific Background Aids His Legal Work.
Nick studied Electrical Engineering at the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology, graduating with a B.S. in 2017. That scientific background allows him to provide intellectual property and OSHA casework from the experienced eye of a trained engineer. It has also played a pivotal role in helping him represent different types of corporate and business clients.
An Eagle Scout & Passionate Outdoorsman.
Nick is excited to stay in the Shenandoah Valley because he loves to get outside skiing or hiking when he’s not working. He earned his Eagle Scout Award in 2013 and has guided backpacking trips in the Southern Rocky Mountains. We’re proud to have Nick on our team! Please join us in welcoming our newest Harrisonburg attorney!
