Litigation Associate Attorneys:
Wharton Aldhizer & Weaver PLC is seeking Litigation Associates to join our civil and administrative litigation teams. The ideal candidate will have one to three years of litigation experience, preferably in one or more of the following disciplines: OSHA/MSHA defense; commercial and personal civil litigation; estate/fiduciary defense or employment law defense. Experience in administrative proceedings also a plus.
These positions involve all aspects of trial and case development, including the drafting of pleadings, pre-trial discovery, witness development and preparation, legal research, brief writing, motions practice, and participating in trials. Successful candidates can expect significant courtroom experience and client contact; the OSHA litigation team includes nationwide practice with travel opportunities.

Litigation Paralegal:

WAW is seeking a full-time litigation paralegal to perform sophisticated and challenging legal work primarily in our Harrisonburg office. Responsibilities include: drafting legal documents such as pleadings and discovery; requesting, reviewing and organizing client documents; compiling and organizing case evidence and supporting information; and managing case files, calendars, and research.
Candidates should have excellent organizational skills, the ability to work independently within a team-oriented structure, strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to efficiently work with Microsoft Office products; and the ability to learn how to use client and document management software.
