Greg brings decades of experience to diverse cases throughout Virginia and West Virginia:

  • Served as Federal Court Special Master in 8-figure claim by a surety against a principal.
  • Defended 20+ employers against allegations of race, sex, age and disability discrimination, and harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination and defamation in federal courts, state courts and/or the EEOC as the “Great Recession” ran its course (2008-2013).
  • Drafted and closed a 25-year grape contract among four wineries and a vineyard, including short and long-term vineyard expansion through capital infusions over time, varietal allocations across existing and future vineyard parcels, short and long-term pricing models, and related terms and conditions.
  • Defended and resolved 7-figure construction claim with no payment by client contractor.
  • Defended and resolved 7-figure lender liability claim with no payment by client bank;
  • Defended and resolved 7-figure under-insured personal injury claim, with a policy limit of only $300,000, with no payment by client individual;
  • Drafted Medical Staff Bylaws and health care consent and compliance policies and forms.
  • Obtained summary judgment in multiple hospital peer review, real estate development, antitrust, business conspiracy and defamation actions for various, respective clients.
  • Pursued and resolved 6- and 7-figure policy limit payments for client survivors, and client family members of deceased non-survivors, in multiple interstate and U/S. highway trucking accidents.
  • Pursued and obtained quiet title for real estate abandoned in the 1840s by a long-defunct turnpike company.
  • Pursued and obtained all losses in an alleged fraud/misappropriation claim for client non-profit.
  • Negotiated risk allocations and limits for chemical, fertilizer, herbicide, pesticide and petroleum wastes and residues and inspection and compliance protocols for client landowner.
  • Defended and obtained more than 2x appraised value in eminent domain claim for client landowner.
  • Defended and successfully tried a 9-figure financing claim against client land developer.
