Jeff Adams is the Managing Partner at Wharton Aldhizer & Weaver and is admitted to practice law in Virginia and New York. He is a team member of the Commercial, Corporate, and Business Law and Estate Planning practice groups. Jeff focuses on corporate and commercial law, estates and trusts, tax law, election law, and related litigation. In addition, Jeff serves as the firm’s managing partner with responsibility for its overall governance and operations. He has closed deals ranging from small, closely-held retail businesses to large corporations. He represents clients in federal and state courts. In 2017 he successfully challenged a long-standing Virginia election law on constitutional grounds in United States District Court. In 2018 he prevailed in an appeal of his victory before the United States Court of Appeals. Jeff excels at tactfully navigating the challenging dynamics of families, businesses, political parties, and government entities. His significant and varied experience allows him to develop sophisticated strategies and solutions to meet the goals of his clients.
