Jeff Adams is admitted to practice law in Virginia and New York. He is a team member of the Commercial, Corporate, and Business Law and Estate Planning practice groups. Jeff focuses on corporate and commercial law, estates and trusts, tax law, election law, and related litigation.  He has closed deals ranging from small, closely-held retail businesses to large corporations. He represents clients in federal and state courts. In 2017 he successfully challenged a long-standing Virginia election law on constitutional grounds in United States District Court. In 2018 he prevailed in an appeal of his victory before the United States Court of Appeals. Jeff excels at tactfully navigating the challenging dynamics of families, businesses, political parties, and government entities. His significant and varied experience allows him to develop sophisticated strategies and solutions to meet the goals of his clients.

    • Represented a regional hospital in the negotiation and closing of its affiliation agreement with a health care system
    • Represented an ESOP-owned food processing company during its acquisition by a multinational food processing company
