A New Harrisonburg Lawyer Will Join WAW In 2024.

We are delighted to introduce Bryce Yancey as the newest Harrisonburg lawyer on our team. Bryce will join Wharton, Aldhizer & Weaver as an Associate at our Harrisonburg location in August 2024.

Bryce’s Involvement Underscores His Commitment To The Legal Field.

Bryce’s educational background and legal community involvement will be an asset to the WAW team upon graduating in 2024. Bryce holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and is pursuing his Juris Doctor degree at the University of Richmond School of Law. Bryce serves as the Manuscripts Editor for the Richmond Journal of Law and Technology and is a student member of the Richmond Law & Business Forum and the Virginia Bar Association. This involvement underscores his commitment to legal scholarship, which he is sure to continue throughout his career.

Diverse Professional Experience Supplements Bryce’s Education.

Bryce joins WAW with practical experience in several of the firms’ practice areas. He has been a Law Clerk at Fullerton & Knowles, P.C., a Legal Intern at Ayers & Stolte, P.C., and finally, a 2023 Summer Associate at Wharton, Aldhizer & Weaver, PLC. He’s delved into the complexities of construction and real estate law, OSHA, medical malpractice and personal injury law, property law, civil litigation, and more. His expanding knowledge base and honed research skills will play a critical role as Bryce assists WAW attorneys as an Associate.

Bryce Will Serve Our Clients With Dedication & Compassion.

His deep passion for the law sets Bryce apart as an attorney. Influenced by his mother’s impactful work as an advocate for sexual assault and domestic violence survivors, Bryce found his calling at a young age. His exposure to the courtroom, the judges, and the compassionate individuals working in the field inspired him to pursue law and dedicate his life to making a difference.

As Bryce embarks on this new chapter with Wharton, Aldhizer & Weaver, we are confident in his abilities to contribute meaningfully to our firm’s legacy of legal excellence. His attention to detail, goal-oriented approach, and team mindset will be valuable to our clients.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Bryce enjoys Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and has been practicing since 2018. He’s already earned a purple belt in that short time—a testament to his discipline and dedication. Bryce is also an avid runner, marathon finisher, and sourdough bread baker.

Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Bryce! We look forward to the remarkable contributions he will undoubtedly make to our firm and our clients.
