Wharton Aldhizer & Weaver’s Sherri Morgan Recognized as a “Legal Hero”
On December 24th, Wharton Aldhizer & Weaver paralegal Sherri Morgan, was honored by Virginia Lawyers Weekly in its exclusive list of 2018 Unsung Legal Heroes. Sherri is a Civil Litigation Paralegal who is dedicated to managing personal injury cases for victims, focusing heavily on patients victimized by medical negligence.
As stated in the award, Sherri is “A tireless worker, who routinely works nights and weekends to manage client cases. She is responsible for almost singlehandedly managing the firm’s medical malpractice section, serving as the only paralegal to three different attorneys, while managing every single malpractice case at the firm. She sacrifices her personal time to work for clients literally on a daily basis.” She has worked as a paralegal for over 33 years and, according to her supervisor, Frank Hilton, a senior partner at WAW with over 35 years experience, “she is the most dedicated, skilled and hardest-working paralegal with whom I have ever had the privilege to work or have come into contact.”
Sherri has worked at WAW since 2005 and in the legal field since 1982.
