WAW Welcomes Molly Ullrich To Our OSHA Team
HARRISONBURG, VA — Wharton Aldhizer & Weaver PLC is pleased to welcome Molly A. Ullrich as the newest Associate on our OSHA team. Molly joins WAW with experience in criminal defense and plaintiff-side personal injury law, where she developed skills in investigation, negotiation and advocacy that translate naturally to representing businesses facing OSHA matters.
While Molly is based in Denver, Colorado, she will work with WAW’s OSHA attorneys to serve businesses across the country.
Molly’s Legal Career Started With A Desire To Help Others
For Molly, pursuing a legal career provided an opportunity to better understand the justice system while helping others navigate it. She earned her undergraduate degree in Political Science with a concentration in National Security from Virginia Tech before receiving her Juris Doctor from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 2023.
During law school, Molly served as President and Treasurer of Equal Justice Wyoming and placed second in the Richard E. Day Client Counseling Competition. She also spent a year interning with the Albany County Attorney’s Office in Laramie, Wyoming.

Her Litigation Experience Provides Valuable Skills For OSHA Clients
Before joining WAW, Molly spent more than four years with Smith & Weidinger, PLLC, progressing from legal intern and law clerk to attorney. Her practice focused primarily on criminal defense along with plaintiff-side personal injury matters.
That work gave Molly firsthand experience investigating cases, evaluating evidence, negotiating and advocating for clients dealing with government agencies. It also required her to remain composed in difficult situations and communicate complicated legal issues in language her clients could understand.
Those experiences now provide a valuable foundation for Molly’s work with WAW’s OSHA clients.
OSHA Allows Molly To Put Her Advocacy Skills To Work For Businesses
Molly was drawn to OSHA law because it allows her to use many of the skills she enjoyed most in her previous practice in a preventative, business-focused setting. OSHA matters can require attorneys to investigate facts, analyze evidence, communicate with government agencies and negotiate on behalf of businesses — responsibilities that closely align with Molly’s background.

Molly is admitted to practice in Colorado and Wyoming and is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, Wyoming State Bar, Colorado Trial Lawyers Association and Wyoming Trial Lawyers Association.
Molly Brings Preparation & Persistence To Every Challenge
Molly believes effective advocacy begins with understanding the facts and preparing thoroughly. She enjoys researching challenging legal questions, evaluating different approaches and helping clients understand the options available to them. Her experience handling difficult conversations and managing conflict also helps her remain adaptable when circumstances change.
Outside of work, Molly is an avid Denver Nuggets and Nikola Jokic fan, attending at least five games each year. She also has one dog and comes from a large family where she’s the youngest of nine children.
