Nicole Faut is an experienced Harrisonburg lawyer who serves WAW’s employment law and civil litigation practice areas. Nicole’s passion lies in protecting people’s civil rights and repairing the harm caused by past injustices. She is equal parts empathetic, analytical, and creative, making her an excellent advocate and colleague. These skills allow her to examine every angle of a client’s problem, clearly explain their options, and guide them through their legal journey.

Nicole Brings Experienced Advocacy To Clients In Harrisonburg & Beyond

Nicole joined Wharton Aldhizer & Weaver PLC in 2025 after building a strong foundation in advocacy, union representation and private practice. Her background includes work with the National Women’s Law Center, the Communication Workers of America, a boutique labor and employment firm in Washington, D.C, as well as diverse clinical experience during law school.

A Rockingham County native and graduate of Spotswood High School, Nicole earned her Juris Doctor from the City University of New York School of Law and her undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Virginia Tech. She returned to the Shenandoah Valley in 2020 to continue serving the community she calls home.

Outside of work, Nicole enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and painting. She’s also an avid collector of wooden jigsaw puzzles.
