Fran Gomez

Fran Gomez brings robust expertise to the WAW team, having represented clients in residential and commercial real estate transactions and estate planning and administration since 1997. She has strong ties to the Waynesboro community, serving in a senior civic position as Commissioner of Accounts for the City of Waynesboro. Her work also encompasses the protection of vulnerable adults as a Guardian ad Litem, facilitating guardianship and care for incapacitated individuals in the community. She’s built a reputation on clear communication and meticulous work that will be an asset to Wharton Aldhizer & Weaver.

Bill Watkins

Bill Watkins is an established Virginia attorney with a reputation for seamlessly handling complex business law needs and estate planning and administration, litigation and real estate transactions. At his core, Bill is a problem solver who develops creative and effective legal strategies for tackling challenging issues. He has worked as a Waynesboro attorney since 1973, representing the community’s legal needs and serving on multiple boards for organizations that provide pivotal services and support in Virginia.

Tim Carwile

Tim Carwile brings broad expertise in all legal practice areas to the WAW law firm. He began practicing law in 1974, representing clients with estate planning and administration, litigation and transactional work. For the past twenty years, he’s focused on trial cases and criminal defense, ensuring his clients experience strong and fair representation in and out of court. He co-authored and co-edited the definitive legal publications on traffic law and criminal defense used by attorneys throughout Virginia. Tim also serves as Special Commissioner for the Augusta Co., VA, Circuit Court.
