Estate Planning Seminar

Fran Gomez and Mary Schratwieser recently led a discussion on practical estate planning ideas at a seminar sponsored by Steve Campbell of Cornerstone Wealth Advisor Group.  The seminar was designed to help individuals understand the importance of making plans for their surviving loved ones.  The seminar focused on the reasons you need a will, additional estate planning documents, probate, potential estate taxes and planning ideas using trusts.

Fran, a partner with WAW, practices primarily in the areas of estate planning and administration, corporate law and residential/commercial real estate.  Mary, an associate with WAW, has a background in real estate, estate planning and litigation during her extensive practice in Texas.  Prior to moving to Virginia, Mary was also a licensed Realtor in Texas.  More recently in Virginia, she has been assisting with the firm’s OSHA practice.
